We have chosen these values as they all refer back to the central Biblical text of The Prodigal Son, which reflects the overarching school values of Pereverance and Compassion.
We didn't just talk about Compassion, we embodied Compassion by collecting resources for the homeless of Norwich over the Christmas period. Everyone is worthy of compassion. We used this painting of Zacchaeus to help us understand the story.
Generosity - Autumn 1, 2019
(We have since changed our annual Values, so you will no longer find Generosity listed!)
We didn't just talk about Generosity, we embodied Generosity by bringing in food for the Harvest Festival, organised by Mrs Miller and Mrs Garrod. All the food was delivered by Mrs Garrod to Cromer Food Bank, so that any families who needed food could always find some.
We used James Tissot's painting of The Widow's Mite to help us understand Generosity.
