Service is the Christian Value chosen by the governors of the Belfry.
We use the parable of the widow's mite to help us understand that even small acts of service are important.
Our Global Neighbours club of Year 5 and 6 pupils have presented a school assembly on how the world is unfair, based on the book, 'If the World were a Village'.
They then used the book 'Doing Good Better' to help understand how to be truly effective in making an impact.
They used the website 'GiveWell' to identify the Malaria Consortium as the charity that is the most effective, and are organising events to raise funds.
