The North Star schools, Belfry and Worstead, are about to join St Benet’s multi academy trust. On some DfE-linked websites, notices may show that the schools are closing. Parents shouldn’t worry! The Secretary of State for Education has signed the Academy Orders to convert both schools to academies, and we expect at the moment for them to officially ‘close’ overnight on 30th June and then ‘re-open’ on 1st July. Overstrand, The Belfry CE VA Primary School will become The Belfry C of E Primary Academy. Worstead CE VA Primary School will become Worstead C of E Primary Academy. There will be no change in your child’s school experience from one day to the next.
