Friends of the Belfry is an ancillary charity to the Belfry School.  The purpose of the charity is to raise funds for the Belfry School; we host regular events such as Summer Fairs, Cake Sales and much more.  The fundraising committee meet on a regular basis and committee roles are rotated annually. 

We are proud to say that, to date, with the support of parents and staff, the Friends have successfully installed a brand new library, new ‘Trim Trail’ play equipment and an award winning ‘Calm Woods’ area.  In recent years, some of the many items purchased are: new dictionaries; lockers; stage lighting; cameras; books; pens; reception class resources and much, much more.

Friends' focus this year and in forthcoming years will be on those extras for the children that the school cannot purchase from its own funding but are lovely for the children of The Belfry to benefit from e.g. the whole school will go to the panto in Sheringham this Christmas (2023) fully funded by the Friends.

Everyone is welcome to attend Friends meetings and help out in any way they can.  Events are advertised via the school newsletter, Friends Facebook Page and school posters.
