The vision sits on the strong foundations of the parable of the Prodigal Son

We chose the parable of the Prodigal Son as we believe that the father valued and loved his sons unconditionally, regardless of their actions. His compassion was sometimes tested yet he persevered with his love, always wanting the best for them.

'Love One Another' (John 13:34) is demonstrated clearly by the father in the Prodigal Son, and to make this commandment understandable to children, each class chose a 'non-cute' animal to remind them that these 'non-cute' animals need as much love as 'cute' kittens and puppies - just like everyone around us.
